Terms & Conditions
  • Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult aged 18 or over when accessing the Dome Galleries.
  • Child 6 to 17 yrs
  • Multimedia guides are provided. Devices are thoroughly cleaned before and after each use. Headphones are provided on-site, but you are welcome to bring your own (3.5mm jack connection). Alternatively, you can download the free app to play on your own device.
  • Respectful non-flash photography for personal use inside the Cathedral is welcomed outside service times. Filming, tripods, monopods and selfie sticks are not permitted.
  • No bags or items larger than 45cm x 30cm x 25cm, including handles, wheels and pockets may be brought into the Cathedral. There is no cloakroom facility.
  • Bags may be searched on entry.
  • The wearing of face coverings is not mandatory, however, the Cathedral welcomes and encourages worshippers, visitors, staff and volunteers to continue to wear masks if they prefer. Please be mindful and respectful of the choices of others.
  • Hand sanitizer is available at the entry point and throughout the Cathedral.
  • There are no limits on party sizes but all visitors are asked to please be respectful of those who may wish to maintain social distancing.

Important Information

  • Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, and Sat - Doors open for sightseeing from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
  • Wed - Doors open for sightseeing at 10am to 4:30pm.
  • The cathedral is closed for visits on Sundays.
  • Last entry to Dome Galleries is at 4:15pm.
  • Entrance to the Golden Gallery is subject to availability due to continued capacity management and there may be time restrictions in place.
  • The Whispering Gallery is closed to the public until further notice.
  • Opening times are subject to change, please check them before visiting
  • You can bring your own headphones (with a 3.5mm jack) for the multimedia guide or use the ones available site
  • Last admission: 30 minutes before closing
  • Bags are subject to a security check on arrival
  • There is no cloakroom available
  • Kids under 6 go free
