The water inside the Zorbs is warm in winter and cool in summer (approx. 40 litres). There are also warm hot tubs at the top and bottom of the hill, heaters and hairdryers in the changing rooms, barista coffee, and free Wi-Fi.
Children over the age of 5 can ride inside the Zorb by themselves. For younger kids, it’s recommended to ride with an adult or other children for more fun.
The ride is like a giant waterslide, so you won’t bump into or hurt each other.

- Zorb is located near the Skyline Gondola and Rainbow Springs, only a 10-minute drive from the centre of Rotorua.
- Exact address: Luge at 525 Ngongotaha Road, Fairy Springs.
- Public buses run from the Rotorua Visitor Information Centre (i-SITE) every 30 minutes. The stop is just after Rainbow Springs and Skyline Rotorua.
- Age restriction: 5 years and over
- Weight restriction: Maximum weight per person is 125kg, maximum combined weight is 250kg
- Maximum combined weight in one Zorb is 250kg (or 551 lb)
- No need to book a date or time for this experience. Simply purchase a ticket and show up!
- This ride does not include tumbling
- You can change your choice of track styles on the day (additional fees may apply for upgrades)
- Combo package rides can be used over multiple days; you don’t have to do both tracks on the same day
- A tour voucher will be received upon booking confirmation
