Tour Overview

Enjoy the nature around the Capilano river See stunning views above the forest floor Discover adventurous bridges up to 100 feet and through the evergreen

Tour Highlights

Just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park isn’t just somewhere to snap that perfect Instagram shot — it’s a pulse-raising journey through forest, sky, and steel. Forget the ordinary. Here you’ll cross a 137-metre-long suspension bridge hanging 70 metres above the rushing river, duck beneath moss-draped evergreens, explore cliffside catwalks built into granite walls, and wander among treetop walkways high above forest floor. Whether you want a slow, contemplative forest walk or a thrill-filled adventure with sheer drops and glass-floored panels, this is one of BC’s most iconic natural playgrounds.

What You Will Experience

  • The Legendary Bridge
A 140-metre simple suspension bridge (approximately 137 m/450 ft long), suspended about 70 metres (230 ft) above the Capilano River.

  • Treetops Adventure
Seven suspended footbridges woven between towering old-growth Douglas firs, up to 30 metres above ground, giving you a bird’s-eye view of the rainforest canopy.

  • Cliffwalk
A series of narrow steel and glass walkways and platforms that cling to sheer cliff faces and extend over the canyon, offering heart-skipping views and glimpses down into rocky ravines.

  • Rainforest Trail & Flora
Moss, ferns, cedar, cedar bark, lush undergrowth — this park is alive with the flora (and fauna) of the Pacific Northwest. Mist-soft air, rushing water, forest hush and squeaks — a sensory treat.

  • Historic Vibe & Cultural Insights
Built in 1889, this bridge has been re-built and re-imagined over time. Interpretive signage, staff stories, and seasonal events (like "Canyon Lights") add layers of history and magic to the natural beauty.

  • Accessibility & Facilities
Cafés, gift shops, rest-points, and free shuttle services from select Vancouver locations make your visit easy to plan.
